Check out a clip from the video, On Display, which travels to Franklin Street Works in Stamford, CT. It’s been included in the exhibition Heavy Rotation (February 24-March 16, 2012).
About the video:
Hector the Dummy gives voice to otherwise disembodied Internet confessionals in monologues based on thousands of published men seeking women ads on craigslist. Performing the scenarios in...

Report from The HECTOR CAN'T TALK Talk Show
As presumed, Hector was reluctant to talk last Friday night at The Waffle Shop. It was difficult getting him out of the bag.

She makes it seem like I am ALL TALK and NO ACTION. When I go out on the town, I want to do kareoke!...

“The Waffle Shop’s first talk show hosted by a ventriloquist dummy who’s reticent to perform in public.”
The HECTOR CAN’T TALK Talk Show features Pittsburgher T. Foley as the interpreter for a ventriloquist dummy who wants his own talk show, but is reluctant to perform in public. Foley is an artist already known for “throwing voices” via her cell-phone based...
